Elder Charles V. Brown, Jr. is a native of Raleigh, NC.
He is a graduate of the William G. Enloe High School; has earned an
Associates Degree in Electronics while serving in the US Air Force;
attended A&T State University and received his BA in Interpersonal
Communication from NC State University; and has earned the Masters
of Divinity Degree from Shaw Divinity School.
Elder Brown has served God through his church
as an usher, Boy Scout Master, Sunday school teacher, discipleship
instructor, couples ministry leader, Deacon, Youth Minister and
Minister of Outreach and Evangelism. Elder Brown presently serves
as pastor of the Wesleyan First Church of Deliverance, Inc.
Elder Brown was the first moderator and
administrator of Christian Faith Baptist Church where the Rev Dr.
David C. Forbes, Sr. is pastor. Elder Brown was licensed to the
Gospel ministry on December 9, 1990. He is the founder of Yes
We Can Ministries, Inc, a discipleship ministry equipping youth
and adults for the Kingdom. Elder Charles Brown serves as President
of the Raleigh Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (RIMA), is
host of the CrossPrayers radio broadcast on WCLY-1550AM.,
CrossPoint TV broadcasts on WAUG-TV (Digital 102) and RTN
(Channel 22) and Overseer of the Raleigh branch of New Life
Community School of Ministry and Bible Institute (NLCSMBI)
He is the owner of Capital Computing Services, a church
administration and video production consulting firm. Elder Brown has
three wonderful children, Charles III, Autumn, and Byron and is
happily married to the former Bonita Tillman.
